I was welcomed with a soft opening of Mochi donuts Pon de Ring style. A traditional Japanese donut formed rings that pull-apart. Very light and fluffy with a sticky texture. This slightly doughy donut reminds me of one of my favorite frozen ice cream mini bites, from Trader Joe’s, made with sweet rice dough.
To my surprise, the line moved quickly. I only purchased enough for a light snack. As the 2d menu expands, so does the number of options available. For me the distance was a bit of a stretch. Because it was not in my local area.
However, if you have never had Mochi donuts, it is well worth the journey to try some delicious sweet goodies.
